By applying color filters to the building windows you immediately give the residents the ability to control the overall lighting of the facade by switching or dimming their lights. It is an interactive installation that may have different outcomes day by day, hour by hour. The „Facade Light Flow” requires no additional luminaires & no Additional electricity. Its purpose is to motivate the locals to participate actively in the celebration of lighting just by switching on or off the light.

The steel structure is highlighted with red LED floodlights from the base. The choice of color is a reference to monuments of the same chronological period & engineering philosophy in Attica (see Gazi), but also due to the capacity of the red spectrum to reflect to a greater extent on surfaces that are of similar coloring (oxidized metal).
The new addition to the monument is mildly lit for the undisturbed viewing of the harbor & the night skyline.

The purpose of the study is to highlight the crater as a landmark of the island as the intention of the local administration is to transform the landscape of the volcano to a Volcanic Park.
Considering the possibility of creating light pollution or light clouds due to the high concentration of clouds in the area, the intensity of the brightness on the surface of the crater is marginally low in order to just colorize.

The exterior lighting focuses on the enhancement of the identity of the channel with synched color shift of the „antennas” and the huge 3d logo sculpture in a pulsating mode as if „IT’S BROADCASTING”.
The interior lighting adds a colorful note to the attic by painting with light the different horizontal layers & with big suspended colored cupolas., White light strips enhance the notion of motion in an active working space such as this.

The architectural proposal for the reformation of the square contained the integration of running water for natural cooling, a vegetable garden for educational purposes, new toys, a basketball court, an outdoor stage & a new bioclimatic roof for the refectory.
The objective of the square’s lighting is to create a space where one can easily perceive its functions during night hours, to facilitate orientation, movement & safe stay of visitors, while creating a mild atmospheric nocturnal environment with minimum consumption.

The concept was based on the idea of adding a bicolor identity on each gate section by suspending horizontally t5 luminaires with color sleeves. This intervention adds a new kind of language to the space that could easily be adopted on a wider scale (signs, maps) making it easier & faster for the visitors to use the airport.
, In the duty free area white t5 luminaires are suspended vertically along one side of the hall giving perspective & a uniform dynamic to the space. For all areas it is proposed to replace the existing suspended metal halide diffuse luminaires with spotlights in order to reduce strong glare.

To ascribe an overall picture of the building at night, part of the interior operating lighting is used for the exterior lighting.
Contrast is achieved by using different color temperatures of white on the inside & the outside., The water element on the patio is lit at the point where the water falls while the rest of the surface is left to dark in order to get reflections from the interior of the building.
